The Train Room

I have been fortunate enough to get a small bedroom all to myself where I cram in a permanent layout (see Waitak & North Ere) and a small workshop (and, of course, all the train paraphernalia that one collects over the years!).  I have basically divided the room into two parts - the permanent layout on one side and the work area on the other.  The shelves at the back of the workbench also hide a staging area for the layout.

The basic layout of the room is shown here:

 

I have included a few photos of the construction stage and what the room looks like now.  As you can probably tell there is not a lot of room which has meant that I have had to make every effort to build in as much storage as possible.  I am also forced to do regular clean outs which is probably a good thing!
